Summary:The invention relates to the field of electrical power system maintenance, in particular to a sound wave monitoring method and a sound wave monitoring device for a side slope upper electric transmission line tower. The sound wave monitoring device comprises a sound wave receiver arranged at the bottom of a steel tube; the sound wave monitoring method comprises the following steps: the sound wave receiver receives the sound wave signal generated by slope interior structure change; the sound wave receiver transmits the sound wave signal to a ground sensor through a metallic conductor; the ground sensor compares the strength of the sound wave signal with the preset threshold value; if the strength of the sound wave signal is higher than the threshold value, then the ground sensor notifies an emitter arranged at the top of the tower to send an alarm signal to an operation and maintenance inspection department. The sound wave monitoring method and the sound wave monitoring device for judging the stability of the side slope upper electric transmission line tower, provided by the invention, solve the problem that at present, the effective measures for judging the side slope stability are lacked, can effectively shorten the patrol inspection times of the operation and maintenance inspection department, lowers the cost, and is simple to mount and low in cost.
