Summary:The invention discloses an optical fiber sensor for similar simulation experiment and a method for paving the optical fiber sensor. An inner cavity of a similar physical model test platform is filled with a similar material in which a vertical drilling hole is drilled, wherein a paving tube is inserted in the vertical drilling hole and provided with an optical fiber fixing slot; both ends of the optical fiber fixing slot are respectively connected with a stress detector which is connected with a stress gauge and an optical fiber holder; the optical fiber holder is integrally connected with an optical fiber hole, a rubber slot and a sensor fiber through fastening screws; the upper end surface of the paving tube is connected with a leveling instrument. The optical fiber paving method comprises the following steps: vertically tapping from the upper part of the model to the bottom; vertically paving a casing along the hole; confirming that the optical fiber is vertically paved through the leveling instrument; confirming that a certain coupling and friction force exists between the casing and the optical fiber; enabling upper and lower ends of the optical cable to be fixed by an end clamping device and applied with pre-stressing force. The optical fiber sensor is simple in structure and convenient to install, and can be widely applied to the similar mining engineering material test or the field of vertically paving the sensor optical fibers in other structures.
