The invention relates to a rotatable LED (light emitting diode) lamp base. A lamp shell comprises an opening part for installing a lamp holder and a T-shaped rotating part, wherein the vertical end of the T-shaped rotating part is connected with the middle part of the opening part, two end edges of a horizontal end of the T-shaped rotating part are each provided with a circle of sawteeth, the sawteeth are connected with the inner side walls of two sides of a connecting part in a rotating manner, a pair of hook-shaped long insertion columns and a pair of hook-shaped short insertion columns are oppositely arranged on the lower end of the connecting part, each hook-shaped long insertion column is inserted into a corresponding rectangular hole on the upper end surface of the base and buckled with an installation seat tightly adhered to the lower side of the base, and each hook-shaped short insertion column is inserted into a short square hole on the upper end surface of the base and buckled with the base. The lamp shell, the connecting part, the base and the installation seat are sequentially connected with one another, so that the lamp shell can be rotatablely operated in the connecting part and can be positioned at any angle; moreover the base is buckled with the installation seat in a rotating manner, so that the base can horizontally rotate randomly for 360 degrees on the installation seat, and the practicability of the LED lamp can be improved.
