The multistage centrifugal water make-up pump comprises a pump barrel, a bearing part, a pump cover, sealing bodies, a pump cartridge and a balancing device, wherein a placement cavity is formed in the pump barrel; the bearing part comprises a driving end bearing part and a non-driving end bearing part; the pump cover is mounted at one end of the pump barrel; the sealing bodies are respectively arranged at both ends of the pump cover on the pump barrel; the pump cartridge is arranged in the placement cavity of the pump barrel in a detachable manner; the pump cartridge comprises a rotating part and a non-rotating part; the rotating part is arranged in the non-rotating part; the rotating part rotates to do work in the non-rotating part; gaps are reserved between the rotating part and the non-rotating part in both the axial and radial directions; the balancing device comprises a balance drum and a balancing sleeve; the balance drum is fixedly mounted on the rotating part; the balancing sleeve is fixedly mounted on the pump cover.
