Summary: | The invention discloses a coking method. The coking method comprises the following steps: (1) raw oil is preheated to 305-520 DEG C, preferably to 400-460 DEG C, by a thermal cracking heating furnace, and the preheated raw oil enters into a thermal cracking reactor, and stays for 0.1-15 hours, wherein the pressure of the thermal cracking reactor is 0.5-3.0 MPa; (2) effluent of the thermal cracking reactor in the step (1) enters into a fractionating tower, and gasoline distillate, diesel distillate, middle distillate oil and heavy distillate oil are obtained by fractionating the effluent; (3) the middle distillate oil which is obtained by separation in the step (2) enters into a delayed coking furnace, after the middle distillate oil is heated to reaction temperature, the heated middle distillate oil enters into a coke tower for deep polymerization and cracking reactions, needle coke is obtained and deposits at the bottom of the tower, reaction oil gas is discharged from the top of the tower, and gasoline distillate, diesel distillate, light wax-oil distillate and heavy wax-oil distillate are obtained by fractionating the reaction oil gas. The needle coke prepared by the coking method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of high length-width ratio, low coefficient of thermal expansion and the like, and therefore, the needle coke is suitable for producing various graphite electrodes. |
