Summary:The invention relates to a liftable support of an air amplifier of a welding fume elimination system for railway vehicle body repair welding. The support comprises main plates 1, a multistage acting oil cylinder 2, chain wheels 3, chains 4, a hydraulic oil tank 5, a hydraulic pump 6, first auxiliary plates 7, second auxiliary plates 8, first roller sets 9, second roller sets 10, rollers 11, a main transverse plate 12 and an auxiliary transverse plate 13. The liftable support is characterized in that the chain wheels 3 are driven by the multistage acting oil cylinder 2 to have the first auxiliary plates 8 and the second auxiliary plates 8 pulled out sequentially so as to adjust the height of the air amplifier. The liftable support has the main advantages that the liftable support can be telescoped section by section without occupying the space; welding and fume elimination requirements can be met by one-man operation.
