Summary: | The invention discloses a catalyst for preparing furfuryl alcohol through hydrogenating a furfural liquid phase and a preparation method of the catalyst. The catalyst contains CuO, Cr2O3 and La2O3, wherein the mole ratio of CuO/Cr2O3 is 1.8-2.4, and the mole ratio of CuO/La2O3 is 60-160. The preparation method comprises the step of preparing the catalyst from the ingredients in usage amount by a coprecipitation method. The catalyst disclosed by the invention has relatively high activity and selectivity, the conversion ratio of furfural is not lower than 99%, the selectivity of furfuryl alcohol is not lower than 98.5%, the preparation process is simple, the cost is low, and the catalyst can be continuously applied mechanically. |
