Summary:The invention relates to an independent branch cable. The independent branch cable comprises a main cable body. The main cable body sequentially comprises a protecting jacket, an insulating layer and conductors from outside to inside. A branch cable body is connected to the tail end of the main cable body, the main cable body is connected with the branch cable body through a connector, the outer side of the connector is wrapped by a branch connecting body, the two ends of the branch connecting body extend in the length direction and wrap the outer side of the tail end of the main cable body and the outer side of the head end of the branch cable body, and a safety socket used for being connected with an external power line is arranged at the tail end of the branch cable body. According to the independent branch cable, the main cable body, the branch cable body and the whole connector are wrapped by the branch connecting body, potential safety hazards such as disengaging or electric leakage at the connecting portion are avoided, and the safety of the branch cable body in the use process is improved; as the safety socket is arranged at the tail end of the branch cable body, the cable can be suitable for being connected with different external power lines or being applied in special occasions; in addition, the external power line is conveniently replaced, and therefore the use efficiency and the use safety of the cable are effectively improved.
