Summary:The invention relates to printing ink or printing paste for coating electronic components, which consists of a precursor and a solvent. The printing ink or printing paste is characterized in that the precursor is made of a metal organic aluminum, magnesium, hafnium, zirconium, indium, and/or tin complex and mixtures thereof comprising at least one ligand from the class of oximates; and the electronic components are printed field effect transistors. The invention also relates to use of the printing ink or printing paste for producing one or more functional layers of the field effect transistors.
