For reaching better effects on prevention and treatment of swine salmonellosis, the invention also provides a preparation method of the traditional Chinese medicine feed additive; the preparation method comprises the following steps: removing impurities of the raw material medicines comprising 5 g of rhizoma coptidis, 10 g of radix scutellariae, 6 g of rhizoma pinellinae praeparata, 9 g of rhizoma atractylodis, 6 g of ligusticum chuanxiong, 10 g of semen plantaginis, 15 g of honeysuckle, 12 g of cortex phellodendri, 18 g of rehmannia glutinosa libosch and 8 g of fructus amomi, quickly elutriating with cold plain boiled water, air-drying, then grinding into powder, then fully mixing, and packaging for standby application.
