The invention provides a plant-based compound nematicide and a preparation method thereof and belongs to the technical field of biological pesticides. The invention aims at providing the plant-based compound nematicide and the preparation method thereof; and an allelopathic effect is utilized for preventing and treating soybean cyst nematodes. The plant-based compound nematicide product is prepared from linum usitatissium roots and total alfalfa plants. The preparation method of the plant-based compound nematicide comprises the following steps: chopping the collected linum usitatissium roots and the collected total alfalfa plants, carrying out hot grinding or expanding treatment, then carrying out digestion twice with anhydrous ethanol to obtain filtrates, and mixing the filtrates; and then carrying out reduced pressure concentration to obtain paste, thus obtaining the plant source compound nematicide. The plant-based compound nematicide has the advantages that an extract of the linum usitatissium roots and the total alfalfa plants is adopted for preventing and treating the soybean cyst nematodes, the linum usitatissium roots and the total alfalfa plants supplement each other, the effect is taken quickly, and a nematode killing effect is obviously improved; meanwhile, extraction time can be shortened, and the yield is increased.
