Summary:The P2P (peer-to-peer) live broadcasting application may generate inter high autonomous domain network flow. The invention discloses an overlay network construction method for a P2P live broadcasting system. The overlay network construction method is used for optimizing inter-domain flow and guaranteeing the playing quality of a live broadcast video. The method comprises the steps: 1, determining an interconnection relation among all autonomous domains in an overlay network according to a physical link delay among the autonomous domains and an input inter-domain connection number to be constructed of each autonomous domain; 2, determining a backbone node and a core node which are used for data transmission of each autonomous domain according to the inter-domain connection number to be constructed of each autonomous domain and a number of intra-domain users;3, constructing actual unidirectional inter-domain connection between the core nodes of all the autonomous domains for unidirectional data transmission between different autonomous domains; 4, constructing bidirectional intra-domain connection among the core nodes, the backbone nodes and common nodes in all the autonomous domains for bidirectional data transmission in the autonomous domains.
