Summary: | The invention is applied to the technical field of air conditioners, provides an air conditioner, and aims to solve the problems of air conditioner performance attenuation and using effects reduction caused by the fact that air volume when an air conditioner is used for a region with low atmospheric pressure and air density is slightly smaller than actually required air volume in the prior art by virtue of linkage control of atmospheric pressure of a mounting site as well as a fan and a compressor. The air conditioner comprises a controller, an outdoor fan, a compressor and an atmospheric pressure feedback system for feeding back the atmospheric pressure of the mounting site, wherein the performance attenuation ratio of the air conditioner is calculated according to the atmospheric pressure of the mounting site, and the rotating speed of the outdoor fan and the output frequency of the compressor are corrected according to the performance attenuation ratio. The invention further provides a control method for the air conditioner. According to the air conditioner and the control method, the linkage control of the performance attenuation ratio as well as the wind speed of the outdoor fan and the output frequency of the compressor is realized according to the atmospheric pressure of the mounting site, so that the cooling and heating performance of the air conditioner running in a low-atmospheric pressure environment is prevented from being attenuated, and the air conditioner using effects of a user are improved. |
