The invention discloses a filter used for separating specific cells. The filter sequentially comprises a volume tube, a liquid level detection tube and a filtering device according to a sample flowing direction, wherein the volume tube is a hollow cylinder and an inlet is formed in the first end of the volume tube and is used for inputting and storing a sample; the liquid level detection tube is a transparent tube; the first end of the liquid level detection tube is connected with the second end of the volume tube and the liquid level detection tube is used for inputting and storing the sample input by the volume tube, and detecting and the height of a liquid level; the first end of the filtering device is connected with the second end of the liquid level detection tube; and an outlet is formed in the second end of the filtering device and is used for filtering the specific cells in the sample and outputting the filtered sample. According to the filter disclosed by the invention, after the liquid level of liquid in the liquid level detection tube reaches a photoelectric monitoring point, light is deviated by the refraction of the light and is used for detecting the height of the liquid level, so that the filtering device keeps in the liquid all the time, and the filtered cells keep the activity.
