The invention discloses a concrete release agent prepared from animal fat and a preparation method thereof. The concrete release agent is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 40-45 parts of modified animal fat, 25-30 parts of SDBS (sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate), 6-8 parts of silica sol, 0.5-2.0 parts of a potassium chloride liquid, 2-4 parts of an acrylic emulsion, 0.3-0.4 part of dimethylformamide, 5-6 parts of water glass, 1.5-2.0 parts of tartaric acid, 0.4-0.5 part of molecular sieve slurry, 0.2-0.4 part of sodium borosilicate, 1.5-2.0 parts of butyl oleate, 4-5 parts of vinyl triethoxysilane and 220-250 parts of deionized water. The concrete release agent disclosed by the invention is simple in composition and economic and environment-friendly in adopted raw materials and can be used for effectively improving releasing form between the concrete and a mould in a production processing process. Animal fat is taken as a main material, thus having good lubricating property. The concrete release agent disclosed by the invention is good in releasing effect, low in cost, convenient to use and good in stability.
