Summary: | The present invention relates to a cast film comprising at least the following three layers: 1) A first skin layer comprising a homogeneously branched linear low density polyethylene having a density in the range of 0.87 to 0.90 g/cm3 and a melt index greater than 1 g/10 min; 2) a core layer comprising linear low density polyethylene having a density 0.915 to 0.930 g/cm3 and a melt index greater than 1 g/10 min; and 3) a second skin layer comprising at least 25 % by weight of the release layer of a propylene based plastomer or elastomer (PBPE) having an ethylene content of from 10 to 18% and a MFR of from 4 to 8 g/10 min. The first and the second skin layers each comprise from 10 to 20% by weight of the cast film. |
