The invention provides a device and method for pre-treating raw oil for the production of biodiesel. The device comprises a treatment tank, wherein an oil inlet and a material return opening are formed in the top of the treatment tank, a heating coil is arranged in the treatment tank, the other material return opening is formed in the side wall of the treatment tank, an oil outlet is formed in the lower part of the side wall of the treatment tank and is connected with a circulating pump, the circulating pump conveys materials discharged from the oil outlet from the two material return openings to the treatment tank and is used for achieving the uniform mixing of materials in the treatment tank, and a conveyance pipe is provided with with an oil outlet pipe in a branched manner and can be used for discharging refined oil products; a slag outlet is formed in the bottom of the treatment tank and is communicated with an oil separator, an overflow opening is formed in the side wall of one side of the oil separator, grease above the oil separator is pumped by an oil pump and returns the treatment tank, and sewage overflowing from the oil separator is conveyed to a sewage treatment device. According to the device and the method for pre-treating the raw oil for the production of the biodiesel, in a manner of sedimentation cleaning after circular heating, impurities and water in the raw oil are cleaned to the maximum extent, the troubles in the subsequent cleaning treatment are reduced, and the quality of the refined oil product is ensured.
