Summary:A power control system and method for vehicle power outlets is provided which integrally controls power of power outlets mounted in a vehicle to improve the efficiency of power distribution in the vehicle and enable ordinary use of the power outlets while the vehicle is turned off. To this end, the power control system includes a startup power source configured to supply power to a plurality of power outlets mounted in a vehicle while the vehicle is turned on, a battery power source configured to supply power to the power outlet while the vehicle is turned off, and a controller configured to detect whether the vehicle is turned on, a battery charge capacity, and an electric current consumption quantity of each of the plurality of power outlets and determine a type of power that should be supplied to each power outlet and whether to supply power to each power outlet.
