A display panel and a manufacture method of the same are disclosed. The manufacture method comprises the following steps. An optical filtering sheet substrate is attached onto a combination zone of a thin film transistor substrate; a first gluing and sealing step is carried out; a first protecting glue is arranged on an electric connection zone connected with the combination zone and contacts with a side end of the optical filtering sheet substrate; a first thinning step is carried out; a main body zone and a side edge zone, connected with each other, of an optical filtering sheet module are thinned; a second gluing and sealing step is carried out; a second protecting glue is arranged on the side edge zone; the first protecting glue is connected with the second protecting glue; a second thinning step is carried out; the optical filtering sheet substrate is thinned, and therefore the side edge zone is enabled to be greater than the main body zone in thickness; the first protecting glue and the second protecting glue are removed; through temporary orderly arrangement of the first protecting glue and the second protecting glue, the utilization rate and the assembling quality of the substrate can be improved.
