Summary: | The invention relates to a process for extracting zeaxanthin from pot marigold, and provides a method for obtaining a pot marigold extractive with zeaxanthin content higher than 10% through supercritical CO2 extraction and macroporous resin chromatography and purification, belonging to the technical field of extraction and separation of effective components of a plant. According to the process, the zeaxanthin contained in the pot marigold is extracted through a supercritical CO2 extraction method, and the naturality of a pigment is kept by introducing no synthetic substance in the process; CO2 belongs to an inert gas, is nontoxic and harmless without residues and can not pollute a raw material and a product; and the zeaxanthin extracted from a natural pot marigold by carrying out macroporous adsorption resin chromatography and purification by utilizing a modern process is further separated to achieve the purity of 10%. The process disclosed by the invention can be used for preventing the poisonous reagent from being adopted, decreasing the solvent residues, ensuring the product quality, improving the product recovery rate and bringing great convenience for production industrialization by carrying out separation and purification by adopting a novel solvent method. |
