Summary:The invention discloses a broadcast media sharing method in an Internet protocol television (IPTV) broadcast service. The method comprises the following steps: when a streaming media server receives a broadcast media service request sent by a client, obtaining the address of a channel broadcast source, included in the broadcast media service request; and obtaining a broadcast code stream corresponding to the address from the streaming media server or from a media exchange device, and sending the broadcast code stream to the client. The invention also simultaneously discloses a streaming media server and a broadcast media sharing node subsystem. By applying the technical scheme provided by the invention, the problems of incapability of providing broadcast services timely due to imbalanced load of each streaming media server in the node subsystem and the like are solved, and the IPTV broadcast service interaction speed and the user service experience are improved.
