The embodiment of the invention provides a processing method and a processing system for audio/video data. The method mainly comprises the following steps: a voice signal is transmitted from sending terminal equipment to a voice processing gateway corresponding to the sending terminal equipment; after the voice signal is converted into SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) voice data by virtue of the voice processing gateway, the SIP voice data is transmitted to a voice business management platform through a wired optical cable; the SIP voice data is transmitted from the voice business management platform to a voice processing gateway corresponding to receiving terminal equipment through a wired optical cable; and the voice processing gateway converts the SIP voice data to voice data of a protocol type used by the receiving terminal equipment and transmits the data to the receiving terminal equipment. According to the embodiment, intercommunication of voice terminals with different protocols and different network systems is realized. An audio/video unified dispatching management platform is established so that audio and video resources are sufficiently, flexibly and uniformly dispatched and managed, and can be interacted and mutually supplemented, and the fusion of the audio/video resources is realized.
