The invention provides a device for producing biodiesel from waste catering oil. The device comprises a methanol storage tank, a methanol vaporizer, a waste catering oil storage tank, a catalyst storage tank, an esterification reactor, a distillation tower and a biodiesel tank, wherein the methanol storage tank is communicated with the inlet of the methanol vaporizer through a pipeline, the methanol vaporizer is connected with an inlet at the lower end of the esterification reactor through a gas-liquid separator, the waste catering oil storage tank and the catalyst storage tank are communicated with an inlet at the upper end of the esterification reactor, a gas outlet at the upper end of the esterification reactor is connected with the methanol storage tank through a heat exchanger, an outlet at the lower end of the esterification reactor is connected with the inlet of the distillation tower through a delivery pump, a depositing tank, a centrifuge, a water washing tank and a vacuum drier, and the outlet of the distillation tower is connected with a vacuum pump and the biodiesel tank through a condenser, an oil-water separator and a buffer tank. By using the device provided by the invention, the waste catering oil can be changed into the biodiesel continuously and rapidly, the reuse of resources can be realized, and profits can be brought to the nation and the people.
