Provided is a full denture base manufacturing method capable of easily manufacturing a full denture base using a mandibular impression tray and maxillary impression tray set for taking impressions from an edentulous patient. An impression material is filled in each of a set of impression trays comprising a maxillary impression tray (3) and mandibular impression tray (4) each having a U-shape groove having the impression material filled in the front and a protrusion (1) protruding from the back; the filled impression material is pressed against the alveolar ridge in the oral cavity and cured, and the bite position and height is determined while making at least a part of the flat top surfaces of the protrusions (1) of each impression tray (3, 4) contact each other; in that state, the impression material is filled between the back surfaces of the impression trays (3, 4) and cured; the mandibular and maxillary impression trays (3, 4) and the impression material therein are removed from the oral cavity together or separately; a molding material is injected into the impression material of the mandibular and maxillary impression trays and cured to create an edentulous model; said edentulous model is mounted in an articulator in a state reflecting the previously determined bite position and height, and a full denture base is created.
