The invention provides a surge protection device. A main valve working cavity and an amplification cavity are separated though an elastic membrane. The amplification cavity is communicated with a valve opening in the bottom of a pilot valve. A spring is arranged at the valve opening in the bottom of the pilot valve. The upper portion of the pilot valve is divided into a gas compressor outlet pressure cavity, a vacuum cavity, a gas inlet pressure cavity and an overspeed protection cavity from bottom to top through five elastic membranes. An adjustment spring is arranged in a cavity in the upper portion of the elastic membrane on the upper portion of the overspeed protection cavity. An adjustment threaded rod is arranged on the upper portion of the adjustment spring and is connected with a device shell in a threaded mode. All the cavities are provided with through holes so as to be communicated with the outer portion of the shell. Borne force transmission is achieved through the control cavities and the working cavity by means of the rubber membranes of the cavities. The high assembly accuracy requirement is required in the assembly process due to the structure, and the surge protection device has the advantage of being high in control accuracy and has high flexibility and stability. Meanwhile, by means of the structural design, the independent detachment and maintenance of the control cavities and the working cavity can be conveniently controlled due to the structural design.
