Summary:The invention belongs to the technical field of non-destructive detection of thermal power plants and particularly relates to a helium leakage detecting device and method for an expansion joint of a condenser. The helium leakage detecting device for the expansion joint of the condenser comprises a helium charging cavity, a helium tank, a suction gun and a helium mass spectrometer, wherein the helium charging cavity is formed in the outer side of the expansion joint of the condenser, the helium tank is connected with the helium charging cavity, and the suction gun is connected with the helium mass spectrometer. The helium leakage detecting method based on the helium leakage detecting device comprises the following steps that the helium charging cavity in the periphery of the expansion joint of the condenser is filled with helium through the helium tank, positive-pressure helium is obtained, air existing on the expansion joint connecting portion of the condenser is sucked by means of the suction gun, the helium content of the sucked air is analyzed through the helium mass spectrometer, and then the sealing performance of the expansion joint of the condenser is confirmed. When the method is used for leakage detection, the positive-pressure helium condition is established outside the expansion joint, helium leakage detection is conducted on the expansion joint inside the condenser after an original expansion joint is replaced by the expansion joint, and the purposes of simplifying working processes, simplifying operating processes, shortening the construction period, avoiding risks and cutting down expenses are achieved.
