Summary:A brush head for example a toothbrush head may have a plurality of cleaning elements which can differ from each other in at least one property. Nevertheless, the different cleaning elements have to be fastened by one of their ends in a brush head. The fastened ends may show thickenings which are produced by melting and optionally reshaping with a punching tool. By applying different amounts of heat to the ends to be molten individual thickenings which may meet individual requirements can be produced for each of the different cleaning elements.
