The method includes: modifying a generator cooling system; performing treatment on overtemperature of a generator stator core; modifying a stator winding; improving the generator operation environment. Via cause analysis on generator stator coil bar fault, after various countermeasures are taken, the current generator operating condition is good, and particularly the temperature of the stator winding is lowered obviously. Therefore, stable operation degree of the generator is heightened, output of the generator is increased, and economic benefit is increased.
