Summary:The invention provides a browser and a processing method for browser favorites. The processing method for browser favorites includes the following steps: acquiring user login information of a browser, and downloading favorite files corresponding to the user login information from the Cloud; analyzing the favorite files to obtain network favorites corresponding to the user login information; saving data of local favorites saved in the browser and corresponding to the user login information to specified catalogs of the network favorites to form updated network favorites, wherein the specified catalogs are used for saving favorite data of the browser of preset type; re-encapsulating the updated network favorites into favorite files and uploading the favorite files to the Cloud, so as to be used by users in browsers which do not belong to the preset type. Therefore, contents saved in the favorites in terminals of various types can be used by users conveniently.
