Summary:The utility model provides a feeding mechanism for a feeding arm type sewing machine. By means of the feeding mechanism, even though cloth on the left side and cloth on the right side which need to be sewed together are different in thickness or material, and curve portion sewing is conducted, the expected sewing result that the cloth on the left side and the cloth on the right side can be fed appropriately can be achieved for operating personnel. A feeding mechanism body (6) conveys the cloth loaded on a machine cylinder (1) in the cloth feeding direction (F) through main feeding teeth (19), first differential feeding teeth (20) and second differential feeding teeth (21) which are in linkage with a main shaft and conduct oval motion in the perpendicular plane of cloth feeding direction (F). The feeding mechanism (6) is provided with a first differential motion feed rate adjusting mechanism (61) for changing and adjusting the motion quantity, referred to as the first differential motion feed rate in the following, of the first differential motion feeding teeth (20) in the front and rear direction every time the main shaft takes a turn. Furthermore, the feeding mechanism (6) is provided with a second differential feed rate adjusting mechanism (71) for changing and adjusting the motion quantity, referred to as the second differential motion feed rate in the following, of the second differential feed teeth (21) in the front and rear direction every time the main shaft takes a turn.
