Summary:A technique for enhancing the separability of reduced ion and slag in a mixture of reduced iron and slag obtained in a semi-molten state in which the entire agglomerate is not completely melted. A method for manufacturing a mixture of reduced iron and slag, comprising, in the following order: a step for agglomerating a substance containing iron oxide and titanium oxide, and a raw material mixture in which a melting point regulator has been furthermore added to a carbon material; and a step for heating the resulting agglomerate so as to melt a portion of the resulting agglomerate to reduce the iron oxide contained in the agglomerate.
