Summary:The invention discloses an AC power supply based on flywheel energy storage and a control method of the AC power supply. The device comprises a power module, a controller, a flywheel energy storing module, a switch and a load; the power module is connected with a load module through the switch; the flywheel energy storing module is connected in parallel with the load; the controller samples the power module and outputs, and a control signal is also output to control an inverter in the power module to act. The control method is characterized in that the controller samples to obtain output three-phase voltage of the inverter, the three-phase voltage is subjected to logical operation and processed by a limiter to obtain controlled target three-phase current and three-phase voltage, so as to a complete closed-loop control; in case of small load, the electric energy is converted into mechanical energy to be stored into a flywheel; in case of large load and even overload, the flywheel connected with a sensing motor releases the mechanical energy, and the mechanical energy is converted into the electric energy through the sensing motor so as to supply power to the load together with an AC power supply; therefore, the current in a branch of the AC power supply is reduced, the over-current is effectively prevented from being produced, and as a result, the normal running of the inverter is protected.
