The invention relates to an air purifier, in particular to a vehicle-mounted ambient air purifier. The vehicle-mounted ambient air purifier comprises an air purifier, and is characterized in that the air purifier is installed outside a vehicle body of a motor vehicle. The air purifier comprises a box body, and a dust collection chamber, a dust reduction chamber, an adsorption chamber, a sterilizing chamber and an exhaust fan are sequentially arranged in the box body; a spraying chamber is arranged between the dust collection chamber and the dust reduction chamber in the box body of the air purifier, a water trough is arranged on the bottom of the box body, a water pump is installed in an outlet of the water trough, and the water pump is connected with a spray head of the spraying chamber through a water pipe; a filter net or a filter bag is installed on the front end of the adsorption chamber; a plurality of layers of corrugated plates are horizontally distributed in the dust collection chamber, a corrugated plate is vertically distributed in the dust reduction chamber, and an ultraviolet lamp is installed in the sterilizing chamber. The vehicle-mounted ambient air purifier has advantages of simple structure and good dust suction effect and can be used for purifying the air outside the vehicle in the driving process, so that the air quality of the city can be improved.
