The invention relates to spring packaging equipment and particularly relates to a numerical control automatic spring sorting and packaging machine which is used in the production of a mattress and is used for sorting and packaging springs. The numerical control automatic spring sorting and packaging machine comprises a spring hooking mechanism, a vertical sliding mechanism, a transverse sliding mechanism, a spring grasping mechanism and a spring compaction mechanism, wherein the transverse sliding mechanism is arranged at the upper part of the spring hooking mechanism; the vertical sliding mechanism is arranged on the transverse sliding mechanism; the spring grasping mechanism is arranged at the lower end of the vertical sliding mechanism; the spring compaction mechanism is arranged on one side of the spring hooking mechanism and is located below the transverse sliding mechanism; the spring hooking mechanism is used for hooking springs; the vertical sliding mechanism and the transverse sliding mechanism are used for controlling the spring grasping mechanism to sort and pile the springs into the spring compaction mechanism; the spring compaction mechanism is used for automatically counting and bundling and compacting the springs. By virtue of the numerical control automatic spring sorting and packaging machine, the springs can be automatically counted, sorted, piled, bundled and compacted.
