Summary:The invention provides a method for adaptive adjustment of an SAR image contrast. The method comprises the steps of calculating a primary integral image and a secondary integral image of an original SAR image; for each pixel in the original SAR image, calculating statistical distribution parameters of a local area image according to an area pixel value of the neighbourhood of the pixel in the image, calculating the grayscale adjustment value of the image, and finishing the adaptive adjustment of the SAR image contrast. The method can well conform to the statistic characteristics of the SAR image.
