The invention discloses a transaction system and a transaction settlement method. The transaction system comprises a transaction terminal and a cloud server, wherein the transaction terminal is used for reading the information of IC cards of both parties of the transaction, obtaining the weight or the number of the goods of the transaction and the transaction amount and generating electronic transaction information, and also performing transaction settlement and determining whether or not to settle the commission, and if the commission needs to be settled, the transaction terminal sends a commission settlement request to the cloud server; the cloud server is used for presetting a data table, obtaining the commission settlement request and the electronic transaction information, matching the data table with IC card numbers or goods identifiers in the electronic transaction information for settling the commission and storing, and further sending the commission settlement result to the transaction terminal. Compared with the prior art, the transaction system has a plurality of commission rules so that the problems of inflexibility, complex operation and low transaction efficiency of an original fixed commission system can be solved; the various commission rules are configured flexibly, and the commission configuration and transaction processes are greatly simplified.
