Summary:The invention discloses a magnetization unit of a wheel magnetic particle flaw detector. A to-be-detected wheel leans against and is fixed to a drive shaft of a flaw detection platform. The magnetization unit comprises concentric coil sets located on the two sides of a wheel disk of the to-be-detected wheel respectively, and a cross coil located outside the to-be-detected wheel. The concentric coil sets are concentric circle coils composed of three coils, one concentric coil set is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, and another concentric coil set is parallel to the to-be-detected wheel. Due to the fact that an improvement is made on the magnetization unit of the wheel magnetic particle flaw detector, the wheel magnetic particle flaw detector meets the requirement for field flaw detection, the magnetization effect of the magnetization unit is good, the improvement cost is low, circumferential and longitudinal resultant magnetization can be carried out on a wheel set, an inner wheel rim, an outer wheel rim, the wheel disk, the wheel edge, the pedaling face and other portions of the wheel are covered by a magnetic field, and effective magnetic powder detection can be carried out on all portions of a workpiece through one-time flaw detection.
