Summary:The invention relates to a model for simulating multiple protrusion defects in an oil immersion headstand type current transformer. The model is characterized by comprising an oil cup and a close cover (4) of the oil cup, an inner threaded hole is formed in the close cover (4), a high-voltage electrode extending rod (1) is installed in the inner threaded hole through threads, a platy upper electrode (2) is installed at the end, extending in the oil cup, of the high-voltage electrode extending rod (1), at least two needle electrodes (3) are detachably installed on the surface of the upper electrode (2), and a platy lower electrode (6) is installed at the bottom in the oil cup. According to the model for simulating the multiple protrusion defects in the oil immersion headstand type current transformer, partial discharge caused by existence of multiple metal protrusions in a real power device can be simulated. A measurement result of the discharge characteristic shows the obvious metal protrusion discharge characteristic and the defect recognition degree is high.
