Summary:The embodiment of the invention provides an image forming system. The image forming system comprises an information processing device, an image forming device and an information providing server, wherein the information providing server is used for storing a printer driving program and providing the stored printer driving program for the image forming device according to a first acquirement request from the image forming device; the image forming device is used for sending the first acquirement request to the information providing server and obtaining the printer driving program, and the image forming device is further used for storing the obtained printer driving program and providing the stored printer driving program for the information processing device according to a second acquirement request from the information processing device; the information processing device is used for sending the second acquirement request to the image forming device and obtaining the printer driving program. According to the image forming system provided by the embodiment of the invention, the convenience for setting a printing environment is improved.
