Summary:The invention discloses a template and method for measuring the circular arcs of the roots of outer threads, and belongs to the technical field of measurement. A steel plate comprises circular arc chamfers, a first sealing face, a second sealing face, a first conical face, a second conical face and scales. The circular arc chamfers are arranged at the corners of the steel plate, the first conical face is arranged on one side of the steel plate, the taper of the first conical face is 1:6, the second conical face is arranged on the other side of the steel plate, the taper of the second conical face is 1:4, and the first conical face and the second conical face are the opposite sides; the first sealing face and the second sealing face are opposite sides, and the scales are carved on the surface of the template. When the circular arcs of the roots of the outer threads are measured, the corresponding sealing face is tightly attached to a sealing face of the threads, the corresponding circular arc chamfer is tightly attached to a cone and sealing face circular arc chamfer, if a gap is reserved between the corresponding conical face of the template and the plane of the threads, it is considered that the circular arc chamfer is larger than 0.8 mm, it is judged that the circular arcs are qualified, and otherwise, it is judged that the circular arcs are not qualified. When the total length of the taper of the outer threads is measured, the corresponding conical face of the template is tightly attached to the tooth tops of the threads, and the corresponding scales are aligned. The problem that the radii of the circular arcs at the portions where cones are in contact with the corresponding sealing face can not be measured is solved.
