The invention relates to a production method of decorative wallpaper. 31-72% of paper pulp, 5-9% of ethyl alcohol and 8-11% of Sanfangzilichun are mixed uniformly to prepare a base material layer; a middle layer is prepared from 2-9% of pearl powder, 8-12% of silver powder and 5-9% of resin, wherein the resin contains a fire retardant-silicon dioxide, and the silicon dioxide is 0.02% of resin in mass; the surface of the base material layer is uniformly coated with the middle layer, and a decorative layer is arranged on the middle layer; the decorative layer is prepared from 4-12% of polyvinyl chloride resin, 5-11% of polyethylene glycol terephthalate resin and 12-19% of ceramic powder; and the polyvinyl chloride resin and the polyethylene glycol terephthalate resin are used as decorative materials to achieve the good decorative effect.
