Summary:The invention discloses a network role pattern switching method for a single-live-wire switch. The method comprises the following steps that a relay pattern of the single-live-wire switch is started, and the single-live-wire switch and a gateway device are networked; a load controlled by the started single-live-wire switch is controlled to work; whether the current value of a circuit where the load is located is equal to or larger than a rated current value is judged; if yes, the single-live-wire switch is kept in the relay pattern and continues working; if not, the single-live-wire switch is switched to a non-relay pattern to work. By means of the network role pattern switching method, the problem that a single-live-wire switch in the prior art can not achieve the relay function in use is solved, and switching between the relay pattern and the non-relay pattern according to different loads is realized.
