Summary: | The invention discloses a hexagonal beta-cobalt hydroxide nanosheet and a preparation method thereof as well as a super capacitor and an electrode thereof. The method comprises the following steps: 1) a step of mixing glycol, methanol and alkali to prepare a system solvent; 2) a step of mixing water soluble cobalt salt and the system solvent to prepare a system mixture; and 3) a step of adding hydrazine hydrate into the system mixture for contact reaction, wherein the alkali is one or more of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide. The method is low in cost, mild in condition, green and environment-friendly, simple to operate, convenient in post-treatment of products, easy to regulate size and shape of the material and suitable for large-scaled production. Meanwhile, the beta-cobalt hydroxide nanosheet prepared by the method is an excellent electrode material for the super capacitor, so that the super capacitor containing the electrode has an electrical double-layer capacitance rectangular characteristic and excellent capacitance and meanwhile is more stable. |
