Summary: | The invention discloses a method for rapid hydroponic identification of cotton germplasm salt tolerance and application. The method includes the steps: firstly, producing a germination substratum; secondly, filling holes of the germination substratum with substrate for cotton seedling culture; thirdly, sowing good cotton seeds in the germination substratum; fourthly, covering the seeds with a mulching film immediately after sowing so as to preserve moisture and increase temperature; fifthly, putting the germination substratum in a nutrient solution with set salinity so as to observe growth conditions of germination and/or seedling emergence. By the method, salt tolerance of the cotton seeds in the germ stage can be inspected, and salt tolerance in the cotton seedling stage can be identified; a set of efficient and high-accuracy identification method is found for salt-tolerant germplasm screening of cotton. |
