The invention relates to organic fertilizers and particularly relates to a mineral substance organic fertilizer and a preparation method thereof. The organic fertilizer consists of the following components in percentage by weight: 30-50% of limestone, 10-20% of humic acid, 10-20% of stalactite, 10-20% of zeolite, 1-3% of olibanum, 1-3% of cluster mallow fruit, 1-5% of caulis akebiae, 5-10% of curcuma aromatic and 1-5% of Chinaberry fruit, or 40-50% of limestone, 10-20% of diatomite, 10-30% of humic acid, 1-3% of olibanum, 1-5% of cluster mallow fruit, 1-5% of caulis akebiae, 1-5% of semen plantaginis and 1-5% of herba lycopi. The organic fertilizer can be used for activating cured available nutrients in soil, activating and supplementing insufficient medium and trace elements in the soil. Moreover, the mineral substance organic fertilizer can be used for restoring soil ecological balance, decomposing much of released oligosaccharide under action of the temperature and the water, increasing the content of orga
