The invention discloses a power grid model joining method and system of a power system. The power grid model joining method includes establishing an integrated dispatching data platform; mapping data of power grid models in the power systems to the integrated dispatching data platform; performing united coding to the data mapped by the integrated dispatching data platform; acquiring model data of the power grid models through the integrated dispatching data platform, so that data interaction is performed to the power grid models and the integrated dispatching data platform. According to the platform power grid model joining method, real-time interaction of the power grid model data of the power systems is achieved, mass interfaces and great working load, required by upgrading and redevelopment, are omitted, and data interaction efficiency is remarkably improved after joining.
