Summary:There is a method and apparatus (60) for producing a strapping bindings (10) disclosed. Here, at least two articles (12) or containers (14) with at least one horizontally about respective outer sides of the article (12) or containers (14) tensioned, band- or strip-like, closed strapping (18) are held together and interconnected. The strapping (18) is formed by one, two or more identical or different straps (20) made of plastic or a composite material, the ends of which under the application of a defined strip tension (26) are fixed to each other, after which the belt tension (26) of the at least one strapping band (20) of the strapping (18) by detecting a response of a vibration in the strapping tape (20) introduced resonance vibrations is detected. The invention further comprises a measuring assembly (24) and method for detecting a tape tension (26) of such strapping bindings (10).
