The invention provides an online sampling method and an online sampler. The online sampling method is executed by using the online sampler. The online sampler comprises a vacuum ball valve, a vacuum tube, a sampling push rod and a sampling crucible, wherein the vacuum ball valve comprises a first end opening and a second end opening which are communicated with each other; one end of the vacuum tube is communicated with the second end opening and the other end of the vacuum tube is a closed end; the sampling push rod extends into the vacuum tube from the closed end of the vacuum tube and extends out of the first end opening after passing through the vacuum ball valve; the sampling crucible is connected with the rod end, extending out of the first end opening, of the sampling push rod; the first end opening is communicated with an equipment cavity to be sampled. The online sampling method provided by the invention is simple and rapid to operate, does not interfere with the normal operation of sampled equipment
