The invention provides an organic light-emitting device and a method for producing the same. The organic light-emitting device is equipped with at least an underlayer film, a dividing wall and an organic film. The underlayer film is arranged on a substrate, and the dividing wall covers a part of the surface of the underlayer film and is so arranged as to surround the rest of the surface of the underlayer film. The organic film comprises an organic material, is formed in a recessed part that is formed by the surrounding of the dividing wall, and is in contact with a part of the surface of the underlayer film and a part of the surface of the dividing wall.
