The invention relates to the technical field of automobile lamp illumination, in particular to an intelligent headlamp based on the projection principle. A light source constituting the headlamp is formed by arranging multiple LED lamps horizontally, light rays emitted by all the LED lamps are emitted by a reflector and a lens and then reach a light distribution screen and form continuous illumination areas, the LED lamps are turned on and turned off independently, and after any LED lamp is turned off, a dark region appears in the illumination area corresponding to the LED lamp to be used for being kept away from other vehicles or pedestrians. The headlamp is formed by multiple LED lamps, the LED lamps can be turned on and turned off according to different road conditions, influences on other vehicles or pedestrians can be avoided, the view of the driver of a current vehicle cannot be influenced, and traffic safety is further improved.
